A more accurate title to this post would be, Why do most woman in certain “Westernised” cultures shave their body hair? But that was a bit much for the main heading.
The following video may be a bit of an eye-opener for many folk.
As someone who has always admired women self-assured enough to not subscribe to the social pressure of female body-shaving, I have often wondered when this odd activity began. Turns out it was relatively recently and, no surprise, it has links to the modern propaganda of consumerism.
I am often surprised at the strong reactions many men, and women, have to the notion of a woman not shaving at least her legs and armpits. These days many consider shaved pubic hair area around the female genitals a necessity too.
From my perspective… It’s a sign of deep unconscious social conditioning and mental impositions and programming. In many cases it may also be an unconscious expression of the malice and fear some men hold toward the feminine, especially as expressed by an empowered and mature woman. In today’s world, the shaving of legs and armpits is, by some, no longer considered sufficient. According to many, a woman must now also shave her genitalia in order to be appealing, sexy, and attractive. To me it just looks very very odd, and always leaves me feeling it’s a deeply twisted act.
The end result is women artificially kept is a visual state of prepubescence.
Question is, why do so many men (and women) find a prepubescent female body more attractive and acceptable than a natural, whole, and adult female body? If you have any interest in genuine self-awareness, it’s a question well worth self-investigating, whether you’re male or female.
If this is a subject of interest to you, you may like to read an article I wrote about female body hair in 2009 — The Bare Naked Earth.
Don’t be a ghost in the machine…
And I thought the fashion of shaving armpits had descended.
Thats the problem with age you dont know what things are these days.
Good time to bring up the Bra situation as it is also a fashion and potentially fatal.
Medical anthropologist Sydney Singer has claimed that, across the world, breast cancer is a problem only in cultures where women wear bras.
He believes tight bras cause congestion in the lymph nodes - a vital part of the immune system and the body's first line of defence against the spread of cancer
Professor Mansel and Mr Cawthorn agree there is no evidence that wearing a bra brings any medical benefit. But the charity Breast Cancer Care warned women to be sceptical about the research.
A spokesman said last night: 'This study could frighten a lot of women, as most women in this country wear bras. It is certainly a very interesting study but it is a very small one, so any theories coming out of it really do need to be treated with caution.'
BS!! There are plenty of other studies. JUST REMEMBER HOW GREAT IT IS TO TAKE IT OFF AT THE END OF THE DAY! THE RELIEF IS VERY REAL AS YOUR BODY ADJUSTS FROM THE RESTRICTION OF A TIGHT BAND OVER THE PATHWAY OF THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM.
Funny thing is, when at junior level high school I really envied this girl in my class who had massively hairy armpits because she seemed so wordly and knowledgable about SEX (firsthand according to her)...alas to this day, not being a hairy type person I still struggle to get a hair growing under my armpits.
no bra for me ,barefoot most days also ,lots of flack and negative energy cast my way because of it ,but my armpits get prickley if i dont shave ..my friend doesnt shave ,she has thin super light hair though ,mine is wirey ,thick ,coarse ,and black even though i have brown hair color ...the legs get shaved because i started it in my pre teens so now it comes out black coarse and feeling like barkdust also...part of it is the pedo crap they push ,another part the nylon industry dupont selling the ladies nylons as the "appropriate attire" ... i am thinking booth bras and shaving also serve the cosmetics industry and some have said maybe even to hide the elite transgenders as you cant fake real braless breasts but wth a bra you can ...but mostly its to control women in my opinion..still looking forward to the day i can just whip my shirt off in the sun like guys can ,but yeah ,our society is so immature they cant handle womens nipples ...crazy disfunctional world..of course i have issues with the unsaid dress codes all together, the shoes and clothes people are required to wear "to look appropriate" cant even be worn on an actual planet with seasons ,only in climate controlled areas with cement ,carpet,or linoleum floors to walk on ....no sitting on the earth or walking in nature wth the usual "business" attire...even make up creeps me out ,i feel like im looking at someone wearing a mask
