Yes, I remember Strange Days. Close to what's happening now isn't it?

What really upsets me about the Hijacking of Dean's work, is that Dean is essentially one of us, and a pioneer of the "Respect Nature" philosophy of infrastructure and architecture, with Feng Shui influences.

Roger Dean is often approached by Hollywood elites to design movie effects, but usually turns them down.

I actually stumbled upon this vid. while researching my latest blog.

I watched Avatar at the movies and loved it, especially the obviously Roger Dean designed environments and creatures. I was mortified, however, to find no mention of him in the credits. It wasn't until about a year later that I found out through Roger's site that he had no part in the movie design, and that he intended to sue Cameron for ripping off his work.
