Ok, so that is very creepy! What do you make of it, GH?
Have to wonder how many more images are out there on the sound waves.
Alright so after some looking online I found one program that does a little of what I am looking for. It's not as defined as the other graph, but it appears to be similar. Upon looking online and being familiar with Aphex Twin's material (Window Licker being my fave) most of which is simply noisecore (if a genre exists). It's audibly harsh as fuck so I don't recommend it.
However if you so chose to at least look at the track in a good RTA scrolling graph, this one seems fit. Again, I highly stress keeping your hand on the volume button. It's not comfortable.
Being that type of person, certain noises just irritate the fuck out of me, and tuning my ears over the years as a music producer, I can completely understand distracting and uncomfortable sounds.
Video first, pic I did a short while ago with a tool called Dexster.
Looks like you might have to do some digging GH. Be worth it though, nothing like a picture of a grey alien to hit it home what sound frequencies can bring in.
My dads a Jazz musician, some of the stuff they play is cool but I remember some of it hurting my ears, and not just coz it was too loud. Then I found out about the whole Satanic Rat Pack/Mafia connection with Sammy Davis Jnr which explained some.
And Led Zepplin, used to love it...now I can barely be in the same room when its on. I notice Robert Plants music became much more gentle when he went off on his own.
Jimmy Page owned Boleskine Manor, Alestiar Crowleys old house on loch Ness. Went up that way to find out about my ancestors and the locals were totally creeped out by it...like "DO NOT go any where near that place young lady!".
(the 90s, was still a young lady back then, )
Bummer, hope you find what you need, GH.
This talk by Crrow includes several topics about music that are really worth hearing.
I am just having a hard time getting the right program to use, I would like the one he uses in the video some I used don't give me those types of graph options
Yep be interesting to see what you come up with GH, good to have someone here doing experiments.
And thanks for the "Audacity" hint Nym. 528hz is a good one, this has always been my favourite for the bliss factor.
(Power Thoughts Meditation Club The Frequency of LOVE Solfreggio 528Hz)
Might help get rid of "the Needles and Pins"...ahhh! LOL
Looking fwd to your results, GH.
I can barely stand listening to music anymore, Cat's Pjs. I mostly have 528hz playing. It was a very gradual thing that I wasn't even fully aware of. You can use Audacity to convert your fave music to the more melodic human frequency and end the war. Fully agree with the tune stuck in head. I took my father to see The Searchers this past Sunday and now have Needles and Pins on radio brain rotation.
Thanks for posting the link!
I'd be interested to see what other tracks by Aphex Twin results in those scary graphs.
I'll have to do a few tracks and even my own and see what the graphs look like .. hmmmm
I got the gear, time for some tests.
Oh that was a good link Nym, I hadn't checked out Crrow777s work for years, not since the beginning when he filmed those lunar wave anomalies.
For what its worth I still put the Beatles etc on to help get the washing up done ...but if you get a tune stuck in your head its definitely programming. I listen to something spiritual for a while when that happens, seems to make it back off.
This reminds me off the work Dr Emoto did on the imprinting of images on water crystals depending on the vibe of the words/sounds the samples were exposed to.
Fascinating, sound and images can be used for healing purposes too, its not just about the "'gloomynatti" attempts to take us downwards.
