MSM: Breaking News: Shots fired during arrest of leader of armed Oregon group; 1 dead, authorities say‏

Ammon Bundy, the leader of the armed group occupying a federal wildlife refuge near Burns, Oregon, and four others have been arrested by law enforcement amid gunfire, according to the FBI.

At 4:25 pm on Tuesday afternoon, the FBI and Oregon State Police “began an enforcement action to bring into custody a number of individuals associated with the armed occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. During that arrest, there were shots fired," the Bureau said in a statement.

The FBI said one person who was “a subject of a federal probable cause arrest is deceased.” He said they are not releasing any information on the person “pending identification by the medical examiner’s office.”

One person suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He was arrested and is in custody.

The arrested individuals include:

- Ammon Edward Bundy, age 40, of Emmett, Idaho.
- Ryan C. Bundy, age 43, of Bunkerville, Nevada.
- Brian Cavalier, age 44, of Bunkerville, Nevada.
- Shawna Cox, age 59, of Kanab, Utah.
- Ryan Waylen Payne, age 32, of Anaconda, Montana.

According to KATU News, Bundy and the others were arrested near the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. Shots were fired after FBI agents and Oregon State Police made a traffic stop.

Oregon Live has reported that “self-styled journalist” Pete Santilli said the FBI has told the protesters at the refuge to leave immediately.

However, investigative reporter Les Zaitz, who was reportedly at the refuge, cites a protester as stating that there is no police presence there.

At the refuge, no indication of trouble. One militant discounted report of arrests, said no one is leaving, no police there.

Images posted on social media purport to show a Bundy militia supporter being arrested by law enforcement. However, the FBI confirmed that this arrest took place separately from the one involving Bundy.

According to OPB News, Bundy and other protesters were scheduled to meet at the John Day Senior Center in neighboring Grant County, but Bundy never appeared.

Highways near Burns have been shut down by the Oregon Department of Transportation and the Harney District Hospital in Burns is also on lockdown, OPB stated.

Bundy and his band of protesters have been occupying the refuge for weeks now. The group is protesting federal ownership of wide swathes of land in the West and wants to see control of it returned to local and state jurisdiction.

TND Editor’s Note:  The FBI reports having taken into custody Ammon Bundy and four other individuals.  FBI officers pulled over a vehicle carrying the men and shots were fired.  Separately, another man was arrested at a different location.

Two individuals have been taken to a hospital in Burns.  Oathkeepers is reporting that Ryan Payne suffered multiple gunshot wounds and that Blaine Cooper has assumed leadership of the Refuge stand-off.  The identity of the deceased individual has not been released, but the Portland FBI office has confirmed that it is not Ryan Bundy.  Local media reports that the two hospitalized men do not have life threatening injuries.  Generally, media coverage has a reportage tone suggesting that this standoff is over.  At this time, that is not clear.

Mormon Arizona rancher LaVoy Finicum was killed on the night of January 26 as the militia standoff near Burns, Oregon, appeared to come to an end. Famously, Finicum, 54, had told the media on January 6 that he would choose death over surrender in the case. His death was confirmed by Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore. She wrote on Twitter:

I've been watching the feed, Lavoy dead, someone said "Shot with hands up FBI killers", Santilli and Bundy arrested apparently. Too many trolls on the feed to get a clear story and no video.

Grrrrrrr...whole thing stinks!  Funny...I happened to be on a conference call with Capt Butler and Alicia when the news broke.  Still a lot of conflicting reports but Ammon is claiming LaVoy exited the vehicle with his hands up and they shot him 3 times.  Didnt get the uprising (lambs to psyop fed slaughter) you wanted the first time...release dashcam footage of the friendly rancher getting 3 in the chest with his hands in the air!  Uhm yeah.  We are all over it and will comment when we see what spin they decide to put on this.

Funny how all of the shills have been arrested save Stanley Blaine Hicks aka Blaine Cooper who now has allegedly ' assumed command ' at the refuge. Honey trap failed horribly, maybe they are pulling the plug on this.
Like a spanish soap opera....

"BLAINE MIGHT DIE" The episode is called - "The Girl Code." More predictive programming...

Here is another one, Economist 2016 Calendar. There is a burning house (ie: BURNS, Oregon) next to NAT'L PARKS sign. ARSON (fire theme) was also the stated reason the Hammonds went to prison...more foreshadowing?
