Over the past few weeks I received numerous requests from readers to publish my predictions on the outcome of the midterm elections, but I did not do so for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, I view the election process very differently from many people. I do not see it as legitimate in the slightest; therefore, my predictions of the past have been based not on voter turnouts, polls or any other such nonsense.  Elections are molded events, framed under the false pretense that the Left/Right paradigm in politics is real. As far as the upper echelons of politics are concerned, the paradigm is completely theatrical.

To be sure, the average American does lean either “left” or “right” on the political spectrum. Such divisions are a natural part of social discourse. However, political theater is designed in most cases to drive citizens away from centrally shared principles of freedom and equal opportunity (not equal outcome) and push them to the far ends of the spectrum toward extremism and zealotry. And to be clear, there is no “good” form of zealotry.

Zealots are not self-aware, and they never subject their own positions to scrutiny. They operate on pure assumption that they are divinely correct in everything they do, and anyone who disagrees with them, even in the slightest, is an enemy that must be destroyed by any means necessary. Zealotry is the root of human atrocity. Zealots are a tidal wave of war and genocide. They are a cancer on the soul of mankind.

Certain groups of people within the establishment, namely globalists that desire total centralized control of every aspect of economy and society, prefer that the public remain as radicalized and divided as possible. For them, zealotry is an asset.

To pursue this goal, they purchase allegiance from politicians through various means, including financial favors, media favors and campaign contributions. There are very few people left in politics that are not part of “the club.” Both Democrat and Republican leaders are essentially on the same side — the globalist side. They attack each other with rhetoric, but when it comes down to actual policy and action, they are all very similar.

The outcome of elections is, therefore, erroneous in the long term. Their only purpose is to manipulate public psychology to a certain reactionary end game.

When I predicted the election of Donald Trump in 2016 many months before voting commenced, I did so based on which election outcome better served the interests of globalists. I concluded with the highest certainty that Donald Trump would “win” based on the same premise that drove me to predict the success of the Brexit vote in the U.K.; that premise being that the globalists would allow “populists” (conservatives) to gain an illusory foothold on political power, only to then collapse the global economy on their heads and blame them for the disaster.

At the time it was unclear whether Trump would play along with the globalist narrative of conservatives as “selfish bumbling villains.” Today, with his consistent relationships with banking elites and globalist think-tank members, it is obvious that Trump intends to play the role he has been given. Trump’s policy actions the past two years indicate that he is following a model very similar to the one Republican President Herbert Hoover used just before the crash of 1929. Trump was a perfect choice for the globalists.

So, the question I had to ask in terms of the midterm elections is, what outcome best serves globalist interests this time? The only conclusion I could come to in this instance was — it didn’t matter who wins the midterms. The globalists will get their economic crash regardless and conservatives will still be blamed.

Not a bad summarization.  My problem is that it is hard to believe evil can win so thoroughly and there are not enough ethical and honest people left to turn the tide.

We have to stop the lying!

It is so unbelievably common place that we accept it everywhere and then make excuses for it when it justifies a means to an end.  We all know politicians lie and we accept it anyway.  Family and friends lie to one another to save face or not hurt the other person’s feelings.  Religious leaders lie for power, control and money much like politicians do.  Teachers lie to save their jobs.  The media lies because they can.  Lying is so out of control that our species is doomed as long as we allow this to occur.

A fantasy of mine is that if we could read one another’s minds, it would be impossible to lie.  Think about what it would mean if lying became impossible because of some moral standard that evolved.  Probably wouldn’t need the gun to stop wars that never started.  Probably wouldn’t need lawyers to defend the guilty. Stealing would get a whole lot harder if everyone knew who was doing the stealing.

Stop the lying!  “NEVER LIE to yourself or anyone else and always practice the GOLDEN RULE”.     Respectfully, Steve

Your fantasy reminds one of 'Minority Report' Steve, be careful of what you wish for...Perhaps freedom of thought and not just freedom of speech is more precious than you imagine. Tech is well advanced to do exactly what you wish for...is a future world where AI decides who lives and dies based on private thought patterns really what you want?

Spoken like a true Globalist

Yeah I think that Steve is right. It's called cognitive dissonance.Amazing to me that the majority of folks in the US believe in the myth that we are the moral force in the world with our "humanitarian wars" spreading democracy. We have holidays dedicated to this lie(like now).Other more rational sources see us  as the greatest threat to World peace,Lying has become an art form in the West and best displayed every election season(like now).

The two values I was bought up with, don't lie, don't steal.

Some think that's why the "Ten Commandments" are not allowed to be posted in federal buildings/courthouses.Creates a hostile work environment for lawyers, judges and politicians.

Economic guru, Peter Schiff doesn’t mince words when he declared the precarious state the United States economy has found itself in. Schiff says “the truth is we don’t have a booming economy,” and he’s not the only one who has noticed.

October was the worst month for global equities in more than six years. Globally, stock markets lost 7.5%, their worst month since May 2012. Even with the late rally, it was the biggest monthly decline in the Nasdaq since 2008.

“All of the bulls were out in force on the financial networks claiming that the correction is over. Everybody was confident that the lows are in, that the big back-to-back rally is proof and you better buy now, otherwise you’re going to miss the rally, and this is the typical correction and now it has run its course. And you know what? If this really was the end of the correction, most likely there wouldn’t be so many people that were so confident that it’s over. You’d have a lot more fear, especially on Halloween. The fact that there is no fear, to me, shows that it’s more likely that this is not the end of the correction, but the beginning of the bear market and that this rally is a correction.” –Peter Schiff via Seeking Alpha

Schiff is well-known for predicting the 2008 financial crisis, but that becomes slightly more real when hearing him say that the job market if a gigantic bubble. Schiff says that jobs are just one more bubble that’s about to burst.

Two hundred thousand jobs a month in an economy the size of ours, especially given how few people, or what a large percentage of the workforce is not working, we should be creating a lot more than 200,000 jobs per month. But we’re not.”

Even though wages are rising for people that have jobs, the cost of living is rising faster. But the cost of servicing their debt is rising even faster than that.” –Peter Schiff via Seeking Alpha

Increasing prices is a direct result of a decade of Federal Reserve easy money policy, Schiff accurately says. Over the last 10 years, the Fed has printed billions of dollars out of thin air

The midterms again saw people invest enormous emotional energy on trying to 'stop Trump' – as if he was an aberration – instead of being just a typical US President (albeit with different hair coloring), increasing profits for Wall Street and threatening other countries who don't pay Danegeld to the Empire. Yes, we do need to stop Trump, but we can only do that if we understand that The Donald is not the root cause of the problem. The utterly corrupt American political system is.

The Democrats, the other, slightly more 'liberal' half of the 'Permanent War Party', are an integral part of that system. They were hailed last week as 'saviours of democracy' for capturing the House. But on the issues that really matter there'll be no major change.

Because if things could be changed in a significant way via elections in the US then they simply would not be held. Elections serve a valuable function in that they give the public the illusion of democracy. They're a safety valve which stop people marching on Capitol Hill with torches and pitchforks, crying 'Enough is Enough!' They keep people compliant.

Political power lies not with the voters, but with the powerful lobby groups who 'buy' elected representatives, who then act in their interests, and not the people's. It's not those we see at election time who really call the shots, but those we don't. Those hidden behind the curtain. Those who write the cheques.

That's why whoever wins we'll never get any meaningful gun control, no matter how many mass shootings take place. It's why neither the Democrats nor the Republicans will introduce an American National Health Service. Why the power of Wall Street and finance capital won't be curbed. And why in foreign policy, presidents and Congress will always do the bidding of the military-industrial complex and Israel. It is absolutely revealing that the US' only real 'breach' with Israel in recent decades came in December 2016, when the Obama administration did not veto an anti-settlements UN resolution. Obama had just literally days left in the White House.

SPECIAL TREND ALERT®
U.S Elections. Not a Word about Wars, not a Peep about Peace: Beware!

Counting up the votes in a midterm election turnout that hit a 50-year high in the United States, all major party candidates running for the House and Senate championed America's military/industrial/intelligence defense complex and its ballooning budget.

Throughout the election cycle, not one Republican or Democratic candidate presented a campaign platform to end America's longest, losing Afghan War, nor to end its other illegal and unconstitutional foreign engagements in the Middle East and Africa that's killing people, destroying nations and intensifying the hatred against We the People.

Indeed, not only was "Peace" a dirty word on the 2018 campaign trail, eight House seats that went to Democratic candidates were won by former members of the military/national security complex… veterans, Central Intelligence Agency and State Department officials. And even the gubernatorial race in solidly Republican Kansas was won by a Democrat who touted her family's strong military credentials.

Imagine, trillions spent and millions killed in illegal, immoral wars with no end in sight – launched on platforms based on lies from Washington and promoted by the media – and it was NEVER a campaign issue in the 2018 midterm elections.

And now, with a new line up of pro-war politicians in office, Americans can expect an even more aggressive foreign policy agenda against China, Russia, Syria, Iran, and other nations under the lies and guise of winning the War on Terror, national security, making the world safe for democracy and regime change in countries whose leaders are cruel to their citizens.

In fact, on Wednesday, the day after the Midterm Elections, when the S&P 500 and Dow notched up their biggest post-midterm elections gains since 1982, CNBC noted:

"Defense stocks are also among the expected winners from a divided Congress as it is one of the areas Democrats and Trump may find common ground. Democrats agreed to a Defense Department budget increase for fiscal year 2019."

Yes, they did. Some 68 percent of House Democrats and 85 percent of Senate Democrats voted for the $716 billion Defense budget.

Ah, those wonderful defense stock companies that General Dwight D. Eisenhower, Five Star General, Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in World War II and two-term President of the United States warned the American people would take over the nation in his farewell address in 20 January 1961:

“Until the latest of our world conflicts, the United States had no armaments industry. American makers of plowshares could, with time and as required, make swords as well. But we can no longer risk emergency improvisation of national defense. We have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. Added to this, three and a half million men and women are directly engaged in the defense establishment. We annually spend on military security alone more than the net income of all United States corporations.”

Now this conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence—economic, political, even spiritual—is felt in every city, every Statehouse, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet, we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources, and livelihood are all involved. So is the very structure of our society.

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.”

Yes, “Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.”

Unfortunately, in America today, the vast majority of the citizenry are, by their deeds and actions, neither “alert” nor “knowledgeable.”

Beyond the lack of interest regarding America’s massive defense budget – when combined with intelligence and homeland security, totals nearly a trillion dollars and one quarter of the entire Federal budget – there was no pushback from a brainwashed population whose wages are not even keeping up with inflation and are heavily taxed to keep feeding the military machine.

While it is convenient to blame apathy or hopelessness to address the wars and the war machine in the midterm elections, voters turned out in large numbers to cast their ballots on issues such as healthcare, the economy, immigration and identity issues.

Furthermore, as the polls prove, from past to present, the public proudly votes for their favorite murderous Republican and Democratic presidents, senators, congressmen and congresswomen war mongers and mass murderers on Election Day.

Imagine! What self-respecting human being, what person who claims to be of character and morality and/or proudly wears their religion on their sleeve, would look up to, bow down to and follow the orders of a Trump, Obama, Bushes, a Clinton, a McConnell, or a Pelosi who march their nation off to war?

The same mindless and courage-less masses who saluted and died for the Woodrow Wilsons, Adolph Hitlers and Mussolinis of the world… and the legions of other psychopaths who ruled and ruined nations throughout the course of history.

THE PRESSTITUTES

And as for the media, once regarded as “The Fourth Estate” for its role in questioning actions taken by the three other branches of government, they have denigrated from journalists into Presstitutes; media whores who get paid to put out for their corporate Johns and Washington whore masters.

Not a peep, challenge or question came from them during the midterm election cycle to those running for political office about the quantitative and qualitative failures of America's never-ending, costly losing foreign entanglements and their deadly consequences.

Obediently, when the political elite give orders to go to war, the media beats their war drums, and the party faithful march to the tune, leaving just a minority compelled to unite “so that security and liberty may prosper together.”

Yet, that’s all it takes, a minority, to change to course of history from never-ending war to a climate of liberty, love, joy and beauty: “It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds on men,” said Samuel Adams.

OCCUPY PEACE

Beware! The onset of major wars and nuclear wars erupting are real.

From the Middle East to the South China Sea, from South America to East Asia, flashpoints of danger are signaling geopolitical unrest. And now, with the Trump Administration declaring that Russia and China are "strategic competitors" and that "great power competition" is a threat to America's national security, the Trump administration has scrapped the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty.

And building on Russia/China fear mongering, France’s President Macron wants to create a great European army in order to prepare for war against them... and even possibly the United States.

Stop their mental madness before it is too late. There are more of us than a handful of lunatic leaders.

Help set the brushfires of freedom in the minds of men, women and children, Occupy Peace. Inspired by our Founding Fathers and President Eisenhower, please do your part to support the only peace program with a viable Action Plan that will assure protection, peace and prosperity.

OCCUPY PEACE ACTION PLAN

1. Close the 800 U.S. military bases in 80 countries. To assure national security, bring home the troops to protect the homeland.

2. Put Troops to work to rebuild America’s rotted infrastructure… a Troops Progress Administration program modeled after the Depression-era Works Project Administration.

3. Force Congress to abide by the Constitution and vote to go to any War which they have not done since WW II.

4. Put referenda on each state ballot, so “We the People” can tell Congress how to vote, since we pay for wars with our money and our lives.

Please donate to Occupy Peace. Put your money where your mind, heart and soul are. Your donations are tax-deductible.
