Chinks in Oligarchy Armor

The streets of Paris have become a war zone, as militant yellow-vest protestors clash with police over austerity measures and a series of middle-class tax increases announced by the Rothschild-peony Macron government. Already Macron has had to call off a fuel tax increase, which the protestors know is an Agenda 21-inspired attempt to make working people pay for the oligarchy’s trashing of this planet.

Here in the US yesterday the Dow was down nearly 800 points.  Phantom tech profits continue to be exposed, a global trade war looms and the bond market yield curve inverted, indicating a looming recession in the US. Already most of the global economy is in tatters.

In Afghanistan, a series of Taliban offenses have put the US puppet government in Kabul on the ropes, as the Trump Administration scrambles to relocate the Crown/CIA  poppy empire to a different war zone in a new country.  https://hendersonlefthook.wordpress.com/2016/02/15/afghan-history-s...

Oil prices are crashing due to the announced exemption of eight countries who will be “allowed” to buy Iranian crude, despite the introduction of a new round of medieval sanctions on that country. Qatar has dropped out of OPEC, exacerbating the cracks in Saudi hegemony over world oil markets exposed by the Khashoggi butchery.

Worse yet for the London bankers who created and have backed the despotic Saudis, there is talk that oil will soon be obsolete, as alternative energy technologies continue to gain market share.

The housing market seems to be entering another rough stretch after Toll Brothers and other homebuilders announced weak demand and offered a bleak outlook going forward. Young people simply can’t afford to buy houses at these levels, so a long- protracted downtrend in housing prices seems inevitable.

As the nation virtually shuts down today to mourn possibly the worst President in US history, events seem to be spinning out of control for the global elite. The French have it right. It’s time to shut down the system, refuse to comply with its mandates and overthrow the existing order.

This time the Federal Reserve’s “put option” of lowering rates to stave off a stock/housing market crash may not work to prop up their death economy. But only if more people wake up and take a courageous, militant and revolutionary stand against the rigged system which enslaves us can we create a new just society to take its place.

Wake up Slaves. Ya Basta!

In at least two different cases, police were seen on video removing their helmets to show the people that they were on their side.

In both cases the protesters erupted with applause and began singing La Marseillaise, the national anthem of France.

When the enforcement arm of the state—the police—refuse to obey their masters, and instead join the citizens they once oppressed, a revolution is at hand. The irony of police revolting after not being paid to act as the enforcement arm of the state—to quell dissent among the citizens—is golden, and hopefully it leads to a “blue” revolution in which police go back to protecting the people, instead of their masters.

According to the Latet report, 53 percent of the Israeli families defined as poor did not have enough food while 72 percent feared that their food supplies would be finished before there was any more money.

It also found that 71 percent of aid recipients in Israel are in debt, 49 percent in foreclosure proceedings and more than half of them do not have access to heating.

Standard of living protests in Israel were going on long before the yellow vests and also happened with the Netanyahu shady oil deal probe protests which hes guilty of at trial: https://www.timesofisrael.com/yellow-vest-protests-reach-israel-as-hundreds-demonstrate-in-tel-aviv/

‘Yellow vest’ protests reach Israel as hundreds demonstrate in Tel Aviv

Inspired by French movement, activists blame government for rising cost of living and block a central junction; at least 10 arrested after confrontations with police

Israeli lawmaker Ayelet Nahmias-Verbin described the figures as a “disgrace” to the regime of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“This report attests to the severe detached nature of a government suffering from choice blindness – no traffic jams with new cars or lines at Ben-Gurion Airport can hide the shameful hunger of one million children,” she said.

“Anyone who does not understand the meaning of a million hungry children, even if you cannot witness the horrific sights of swollen bellies because there is always white bread and margarine available, will never try to solve the problem and the social gaps.”

The Yellow Vest Protests are a Canary in The Coal Mine

Civil unrest has broken out in France as a global economic downturn is just getting underway. The significance of this warning sign should not be underestimated.

Civil unrest has broken out in France as a global economic downturn is just getting underway. The significance of this warning sign should not be underestimated.

The Yellow Vest Protests in France (les gilets jaunes) were never about a fuel tax. This was made clear when Macron caved in to their initial demands and cancelled it. Nor is this merely an expression of Macron’s unpopularity (though a 25% approval rating certainly doesn’t help). A deep undercurrent of discontent has been rising in western Europe, and the conditions which are fueling it are set to accelerate.

A 2015 study which compiled data on nearly 100 financial crises since 1870 observed that far-right parties are the primary beneficiaries of financial crashes. Further research demonstrated that wealth inequality exacerbates this trend.

When living conditions deteriorate and a population is frightened, people tend to gravitate towards strong leadership and groups which offer a sense of collective identity and order. National, religious, and racial heritage provide low hanging fruit. The left typically underestimates these forces, and overestimates the power of their own ideologies. Also their contempt for tradition and authority undermines their ability to organize much beyond brief shows of collective force (Occupy Wall Street for example).

Researchers have found that populist surges are usually temporary, and that within five years voting patterns usually return to their pre-crisis status quo. However in the aftermath of the 2009 financial crisis the response was different. This time around populist movements were still on the rise a decade later, and were gaining strength as a new crisis approached. Why?

Most of the money created by central bank stimulus over the past decade was funneled to the wealthiest strata of society, who mostly reinvested it rather than spending it into the economy. As a result inequality levels increased globally. In 1980 the top 1 percent held close to 10 percent of the wealth, by the year 2016 this share had doubled to 20 percent in the United States.

As central banks begin reversing stimulus (quantitative tightening), money is being sucked out of the economy faster than it was injected. Monetary and credit conditions are being tightened simultaneously into a crash. As this crash unfolds, and living standards are meaningfully impacted, we will see upheavals throughout the West make the yellow vest uprising seem quaint. History will remember them as a canary in the coal mine.

France is in free fall and the people are beginning to understand that their president,in collusion with the central banksters, are promoting the migrant invasion.

"

Authored by Guy Milliere via The Gatestone Institute,

  • French officials evidently understand that the terrorists are engaged in a long war and that it will be difficult to stop them; so they seem to have given in. These officials are no doubt aware that young French Muslims are being radicalized in increasing numbers. The response, however, has been to strengthen Muslim institutions in France.

  • At the time President Macron was speaking, one of his emissaries was in Morocco to sign the UN Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, which defines immigration as "beneficial" for the host countries. Under it, signatory states pledge to "strengthen migrant-inclusive service delivery systems."

  • A group of retired generals published an open letter, saying that signing the Global Compact was a further step towards "the abandonment of national sovereignty" and noted that "80% of the French population think that immigration must be halted or regulated drastically".

  • The author Éric Zemmour described the "yellow vests" revolt as the result of the "despair of people who feel humiliated, forgotten, dispossessed of their own country by the decisions of a contemptuous caste".

Marking up the Arc de Triomphe, smashing the face of the Marianne statue, a symbol of the French state, and trashing private property along the Champs-Elysees will be considered minor incidents if the Yellow Vests pull off their next move—an organized run on the banks.

According to activist Tahz San, the aim of the latest protest is to “scare this (French) state completely legally and without any violence, yet more effectively than ever expected.”

The Associated Press reports Gilets Jaunes activists “hope the move will force the government to listen to their demands, notably their call for more direct democracy through the implementation of popular votes that allow citizens to propose new laws.”

Instead of listening to the demands of a majority of the French people—polls show around 80% support for the movement—the state will roll out the military and pass a draconian law criminalizing organized protest.

I encourage folks to listen to Tom Quiggin answer questions.  He briefly discusses what is happening in France in relation to international forces and provides grim predictions of what to expect in the near future.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBz0tcBCQVo

The majority of his presentation relates directly to Canadians but he suggests that everybody in the world is under the same threat.

Petrol dropped 40cents here in Aust. last week. There is meant to be a yellow protest here on the 19th. Funny 19/1 of 2019 ... 911 anyone? And yellow is being seen everywhere: look at the top songs on the current American top 40, and all assorted other advertising on tv. Yellow symbolises the sun and friendship.

French riot police were pictured brandishing Heckler & Koch G36 semi-automatic rifles with 30-round magazines near the Arc de Triomphe in Paris on Saturday afternoon, reports the Daily Mail

French riot police brandishing H&K G36 semi-automatic rifle

The deployment of rifles with presumably live ammunition visible through the magazine is an intimidating escalation as President Emmanuel Macron continues to lose his grip over France following nine weeks of country-wide protests by the Gilet Jaunes (Yellow Vest) movement.

The Gilet Jaunes began as a demonstration against a climate change-linked fuel tax, which quickly morphed into a general anti-government protest against the Macron administration and the world's highest taxes. We're sure France's plege to send 1 billion euros to rebuild Iraq will help calm them down.

In France, this past weekend of 12 / 13 January, the Yellow Vests went into round 9 of protests against dictator Macron, his austerity program and – not least – his abject arrogance vis-à- vis the working class. A recent public statement of Macron’s is testimony of this below-the-belt arrogance: “Trop de français n’ont pas le sens de l’effort, ce qui explique en ... – Translated:

“Too many French don’t know the meaning of ‘effort’ which explains at least partially the trouble this country is in.”

The Yellow Vests and a majority of the French population want nothing less than Macron’s resignation. Protesters are consistently and largely under-reported by Christophe Castaner, the French Interior Minister. This past weekend the official figure was 50,000 demonstrators, countrywide, when in reality the figure was at least three times higher. The official French version would like the public at large, inside and outside of France, to believe that the Yellow Vest’s movement is diminishing. It is not. To the contrary, they are demonstrating all over France, and that despite the Macron regime’s increasing violent repression.

RT reports, on Macron’s orders the police are becoming more violent, using military suppression to control protesting French civilians. Thousands have been arrested, and hundreds injured by police brutality. Nevertheless, the movement is gaining massive public support and the ‘Yellow Vests” idea is spreading throughout Europe. This spread is, of course, hardly reported by the mainstream media.

In fact, 80% of the French back the Yellow Vests and their idea of a Citizen Initiated Referendum (RIC for “Référendum d’initiative citoyenne”), under which citizens could propose their own laws that would then be voted on by the general public. The RIC could effectively bypass the French Parliament, and would be enshrined in the French Constitution. A similar law exists since 1848 in Switzerland and is regularly applied by Swiss citizens. It is a way of Direct Democracy that any country calling itself a “democracy” should incorporate in its Constitution.

The UKis in shambles. Thousands are taking to the streets of London, organized by the People’s Assembly Against Austerity”, calling for general elections to replace the failing Tory Government. They are joined by the French Gilets Jaunes (Yellow Vests), out of solidarity. Many of the UK protesters are also wearing high-visibility yellow vests.

This is in direct correlation with the ever-growing louder debacle over BREXIT – yes, or no and how. At this point nobody knows what Britain’s future is going to be. Propaganda and counter-propaganda is destined to further confuse the people and confused people usually want to stick to the ‘status quo’. There is even a movement of pro “remain” propaganda, organized by some members of the European Parliament. Imagine! – Talking about sovereignty, if Brussels cannot even leave the Brits alone decide whether they want to continue under their dictate or not.
