There is something so magical about birds....
the way they move through the air and sing
to one another.
Every morning a part of my routine is to put
out seeds for the local birds.
They never say thank you....I never fail to
feel gratitude for their magical presence.

Thanks, Rose.

Absolutely delightful and so inspiring.

I love all the birds, they never fail to bring a smile to my face!

Susan said delightful and inspiring - may I say that your book that we recived was delightful and inspiring!  Saru read it to me after breakfast in bed.  You stuff is a cut above the rest. We were laughing all though the story... next purchase of one of your books will finally be the 9 tales of shredder!

“My wish is ever strong that you find enough patience within you and enough simplicity to have faith. May you gain more and more trust in what is challenging and confidence in the solitude you bear. Let life happen to you. Believe me: life is in the right in any case.”

- Rainer Maria Rilke

Thanks Rose..some good quotes and delightful images.

You did very well to capture the swallow the way you did, as they are seldom very still! I love having the local swallows here zoom around the cottage, especially in the evening, and I always talk to them , as I do with all the other birds here.

The bird life around me is like a soothing balm that I so need when I am seeing devastation in the skies above, and I'm forever grateful for their presence.
