I have recently got my Crohn's dis-ease into remission only to be now told that my kidneys are blinking - microalbuminuria, hypertension, cholesterol - and that all the foods that have saved my gut are no good for my kidneys (originally damaged twenty years ago by mesasalazine - a drug prescribed to treat Crohn's). I'm pretty angry and am now scared to eat anything. My bones and teeth are all aching from the lack of fats and oils and probably from the blood pressure meds I've started taking last week. Vitamin D levels are at 95, dr said to keep doing what I'm doing as that's a fantastic result. Calcium, potassium, magnesium all good. Thyroid was also making itself shown in blood test but dr said this often happens then is nothing in repeat test.

I've been looking up foods and juices but there is so much conflicting info and the anxiety of it all is just adding to the confusion. I don't have swollen arms, legs, ankles, itchy skin, rash, etc. I was feeling fantastic and only went the drs to have my remission confirmed via inflammatory marker test. Inflammation is down along with all my previous kidney issue warning signs from yrs ago but the proteins are showing up in urine.

I have a yard and garden so can grow what is needed if anyone has any suggestions.

Currently juicing beetroot, celery, carrots, zuchini

Growing organic spinach, assorted varieties of parsley, dandelions, basil, mints, taragon, rosemary, teatree, mandarines, nectarines, pears, chokos (again! drown proof this time), cress, blueberries, strawberries, oregano, tumeric, tomatos, potatoes ....

Taking natural E, D when no sunshine, de-chlorinated water, I do drink tea with goat milk. Also drinking supermarket brand Spring water atm. Have dropped all dairy other than butter oil, only enough to take E and cod liver oil. Feel so much calmer after taking it.

I'll leave it here.

All help greatly appreciated!

Master Mineral Supplement (MMS) developed by the Genesis II Church cures kidney issues, and it very inexpensive.  You can see Genesis II Church’s latest newsletter that happens be on curing kidney issues with MMS, and the church is having a live broadcast on the topic April 2nd at 10 AM CST (“G2 Voice #29: Why are kidneys being destroyed worldwide and what to do to stop it! (4-1-2017),” http://mmsnews.is ).  You don’t have to have anything to do with Genesis II Church, the church of healing with MMS, to use MMS you can make it or get it on your own to use, and the Church’s website has a lot of MMS resources.  I am not affiliated with the church.

Nym That is good to hear you got good vitamin D levels from winter Australian sun. And that is good to know that winter sun can do that because I thought I might as well not try for sun in the winter time. That would have been difficult this year because we had a lot of rain this year, but if drought returns that might be something to consider. An article said that vitamin D obtained in the summer carries over enough through the winter. Dr. Mercola has said that for good sunshine vitamin D you need at least 30 degrees of sun altitude that you don’t get in the winter, but what you’re doing seems good despite that.

The UV lamps do not cause heat when followed according to directions which for the UVC ones are 1 minute exposures on each side 5 times a week. However, you might not handle much of the near infrared incandescent lamps because they are heat producing, and so it seems you would need the more expensive non-heat producing LED ones.

I have been doing some research on the Gerson therapy for cancer treatment and also to stop it from forming in the first place.. They say that all disease is because of two factors environmental toxicity and nutritional deficiency and they even claim they can help with opiate (2 days)and nicotine (12 hrs)withdrawls much better and quicker than pharmacological means. Also in a presentation from the grand daughter of the doctor who developed the treatment while searching for a cure for his migraine headaches a question was asked can this cure Aids to which she replied we have had some success but it is a touchy subject so we go by  patient by patient and keep the finding confidential however many who try the treatment use it as a last resort as the chemo and drugs have suppressed their systems so much the body cannot fight disease anymore let alone function properly. Another thing I like to use instead of salad dressing is flaxseed oil and apple cider vinegar but you must remember the flaxseed oil once opened has to be used in 6 weeks, but at a tablespoon a day 500mls will last a month and it cant be heated for cooking, which reminds me, I must get a decent juicer this week!

Hi Arthur, thank you very much for your comments and information! I use the sun during winter and supplements during summer because even blow drying my hair or standing near a hotplate for any length of time just makes me feel bad, so I'm not sure how a UV lamp would go. After last winter's midday sun exposures my dr my vitamin D was off the chart and to not stop doing whatever it was I was doing lol. This is after years of being on a gov't authority vitamin D prescription for many yrs. Yet every blood test I had revealed low D levels. Gps and renal specialist both said there was no need to increase the dose. I concluded they wanted to keep me struggling and told them so.

Thanks again.

Nym A Light Years 2 UVB / UVC lamp on the web for Vitamin D is a lot better than supplements and has a lot more benefits. I’m not affiliated with Light Years 2, again just another self-experimenter. Also, the lamps are a good backup for natural sunlight because it can be difficult getting enough sunlight exposure which I think is an hour a day with as much of the body exposed as possible.

Nym Also, what might work for kidney issues is the Spooky2 rife frequency machine. I'm not affiliated with Spooky 2, again just a self-experimenter.

Nym  Organic Olivia’s instructions of “If you are using it [the near infrared lamp] on your head (ears, sinuses, etc.), use it no more than 10 minutes at a time” is outdated as Dr. Hamblin told me that 30 minutes a day is optimal, and as long as it doesn’t feel too hot.

Hi, Nym,  Photomedicine / Photobiomodulation with near infrared light is said to cure kidney problems, and gets people off of kidney dialysis machines.  Please search Dr. Mercola.com’s recent articles on near infrared light therapy and Dr. Michael R. Hamblin of Harvard University.  Rubylux bulbs are cheaper than LED lamps (I’m not affiliated Rubylux bulbs, just experimenting on myself).  Rubylux bulbs need a brooder type clamp lamp bulb holder and the eyes need some protection from the heat and maybe the infrared (it is controversial that near infrared harms the eyes).  Eyes can be protected with expensive glasses or cheaply with tin foil around glasses or maybe sun tan eye shields might work.  There are some instructions at Rubylux Lights dot com.  Some more resources are “Why I’m Obsessed with Infrared Light Therapy: Boosts Metabolism, Thyroid + Mood” by organic Olivia on the web.

Thanks so much, Sarah, will read it asap!

I know it sounds like a low weight but I'm 5ft squat so I'm not worried at this point. I was only 43kg when I delivered my 3kg son. I've given up wheat and the odd tsp of sugar in my tea as well. I have now put on almost a kilo and feel so full of energy it's amazing. Months ago I could barely be bothered to do anything but watch tv. This week I moved a half tonne of garden soil (raining atm), pruned a heap of bushes, removed a lot of plants to make room for more edibles.
