Nikon Coolpix P900 review.

This could be a useful camera for photographers who wish to document aircraft spraying chemtrails and other subjects of interest.

With an 83x, 24-2000mm equivalent lens, sometimes dubbed the chemtrail camera the Nikon Coolpix P900 is the undisputed king of the super-zooms. On paper at least, we can't imagine a scene that this lens shouldn't be able to handle, whether its shooting architecture  wildlife or flying aircraft. To keep things steady, the camera has an advanced image stabilization system that offers 5 stops of shake reduction.

The Nikon P900 was announced back in 2015 and remains to this day the holder of the world’s biggest zoom on a consumer camera. Its 83x zoom range is equivalent to 24-2,000mm on a full-frame camera and can stretch from wide-angle vistas to pictures of the moon filling the frame.

Hi Jonathan my experience so far. The camera differently needs a tripod... the image stabilizer does a reasonable job.It seems to me that all cameras have some defects whether intentional or not i am not sure. Rumors are that Nikon are going ahead with the P950 follow up, hope they include a mic input and shoots in RAW.
