I guess that "analysis" precludes the reality of his actions/appointments,If you will notice,I have never parroted the bullshit that the controlled media has used to attack Trump.RussiaGate BS is a distraction from the reality of zionist/neocon control of our government's foreign policy. At this point I believe that it's obvious that Trump is as much in thrall to them as any of his predecessors and that fact will never be acknowledged, much less investigated.

The other distraction that continues to confound me is the masses' blind acceptance of that "Deep State vs Trump" nonsense.Incredible when one considers his appointments(Mnuchin,Mattis,Pompeo,Bolton,Barr,ad infinitum).Gaining the Swamp is more accurate.

The other fraud that the media has promoted is the Trump vs Macron feud.Successful to the point that even the Yellow Vests protestors have swallowed it.Macron,May,Merkel and Trump are thoroughly owned by the globalist banksters and corporate monied interests as was pointed out so well in a recent article by Dean Henderson.

Inequality has never been so pronounced and it's worsening daily in our "Trickle Down" economy nightmare.Trump's tax cut fraud enriched the Wall Street elite ,giving pennies to the little people.Wall Sreet banksters' crimes/manipulations continue to go unpunished even when they're exposed. There has certainly been no change there.

Finally to my eye,his worst reversal was in the area of foreign policy. On the campaign trail his promises elicited visions of Ron Paul, speaking of bringing our kids home and good relations with Russia etc.His continued support of the brutal Saudi war on Yemen and Israel's continuing occupation and slaughter of native Palestinians is despicable. And now he and his neocons are busy demonizing/sanctioning Iran and Russia.

And there are no progressives anymore except for a very few like Chris Hedges,Scheer. And very few real conservatives. We have only one party, the Big Money/War Party.

I am so weary of the lack of analysis from any side.  Progressives would criticize how Trump spits.  It doesn't matter. Progressives  & mainstream Dems are working toward impeachment regardless of the ramifications  and whether it would truly make things better.  The question is how will the US aid the terrorists which the US created?  But if Trump is sincere about the US having too many troops around the world,  and I suspect he is, not because he is against war, Trump is against spending money anywhere but the US. Its the cost factor which is Trump's bottom   line if it doesn't directly benefit the US.  The fact that the US would be toning down world domination is unimportant.  The crocodile tears over Mathis is ridiculous when everyone knows the military industrialists run the show & this power needs breaking.  But progressives hate Trump so much, they throw the baby out with the bath.

One can never take any announcement out of DC at face value. There are many possibie interpretations/outcomes and none of them are good.not with deep state neocons calling the shots.

Russia has welcomed Trump's pullout decision for Syria, saying that it potentially could help consolidate a political settlement in the Arab country wracked by nearly eight years of war.

Nevertheless, President Vladimir Putin noted in his annual press conference this week that it remains to be seen if the planned US withdrawal actually materializes. Only a couple of months ago, national security adviser John Bolton declared US forces would be in Syria for as long as Iranian forces were present.

A phalanx of critics lined up to excoriate Trump over this "victory" announcement. Republican senators, including loyalists like Lindsey Graham, joined with Democrats to slam the move as a concession to "our enemies" -- Russia and Iran. Media pundits and so-called liberal Hollywood celebrities also piled in with similar accusations that Trump was pandering to Russia. Of course, that view fits in with the fantasy of Trump being a stooge for Putin.

What seems to escape the assorted "stay in Syria brigade" is that US troops are illegally present in the country. American forces -- about 2,000 on the ground as well as warplanes -- are in violation of international law since they do not have a UN Security Council mandate, nor authorization from Syria's government.

In any case, the notion that Trump's military withdrawal, or "retreat" as some critics put it, is a signal for peace or "gift" to Russia is woefully misplaced.
